FixtureFeed

Football fixtures and results, piped into your apps.

Works with FA Full-Time

Buy API access to your club's fixtures and results, and read them straight into your website or app. We collect the data from FA Full-Time, so nobody at the club has to type anything out or keep it up to date.

  • £2.99 a month per club
  • Every team, every league the club plays in
  • Read-only JSON, nothing to install
Every club FixtureFeed has, with its leagues and teams. It's a public page, so you can look before you buy.

The problem

Every week, somebody types them out again

Grassroots leagues in England publish their fixtures and results on FA Full-Time. Clubs then copy them by hand into the club website, team apps, spreadsheets and the parents' group chats. Every week, all season.

Full-Time has no public API. It does offer widgets you can embed, but they only display the data. You can't store it, reshape it or build anything on it.

FixtureFeed fixes that. We collect your club's fixtures and results and serve them as clean JSON. Your website or app reads them whenever it likes, and nobody at the club has to do a thing to keep them up to date.

With FixtureFeed

fulltime.thefa.com we collect FixtureFeed your key Your website or app

Nothing for the club to do, and nothing to install.

How it works

Up and running in six steps

You do all of this once. After that your app just reads, and we keep the data coming.

  1. 01

    Check your club is listed

Our club list is public. It shows every club we have, the leagues it plays in and its teams. If your club isn't there, email us with its name and league and we'll add it. Do this before you buy.

  2. 02

    Buy a licence

£2.99 a month per club, with no VAT on top. One licence covers one club and all its teams, in every league the club plays in. Payment goes through Stripe.

  3. 03

    Sign in to the portal

Your licence key arrives by email. Sign in to the portal with that email address and the key. After that you sign in with your email and a six-digit code, so there's no password to remember.

  4. 04

    Choose your club

Pick your club from the list, and the licence is tied to it.

  5. 05

    Create an API key

Create a key in the portal and give it to whoever runs your website or app. The portal's API docs page has examples you can copy straight into curl, Python, C# or PHP.

  6. 06

    Read your fixtures

Your website or app reads the club's fixtures and results with that key. Access is read-only, so a key can never change anything.

Looking after several clubs? Buy a licence for each one with the same email address. They all sit on one account, and a single key reads the lot.

Who it's for

For the club, the team and whoever builds the website

Club and fixtures secretaries

Every team's fixtures and results feeding the club website, without anyone retyping them. One licence covers the club and all its teams, in every league it plays in.

Team managers

Your team's fixtures in your team app or site, up to date without you touching them. The club's licence covers your team along with every other team.

Developers and agencies who build club websites

A clean JSON API for grassroots fixtures and results. Buy a licence for each club you look after, all on one account, and one key reads them all.

What you get

Everything the club plays, in one feed

  • One licence, every team From the minis to the adults, and every league the club plays in. Ask for the whole club at once, or for one team.
  • Fixtures and results, filtered how you like By season, by date range, by competition (say U9), or by league and cup.
  • The detail your site needs Date, kick-off in UK time and UTC, home and away teams, venue, competition, status notes like postponed, and a link to the match on Full-Time.
  • Updated every day We collect from Full-Time daily, and every list says when it was last updated, so your app can show that too.
The portal's Overview: every team the licence covers, in each league the club plays in.

Keys and billing

Read-only keys, and billing you can stop

  • Keys can only read A key can't change anything, and each one reads fixtures, results or both. You choose when you make it.
  • Keys are secret They belong on your server, never in a web page where anyone can read them. You get up to five per licence, so you can give each site or app its own.
  • There's no player data Just teams, dates, venues, competitions and scores, the same as anyone can see on Full-Time.
  • Billing stays in your hands It's monthly through Stripe. Change your card, pick up invoices or cancel from the portal, and a cancelled licence keeps working to the end of the month you've paid for.
API keys in the portal. Each one shows what it can read and when it was last used, and you can rotate or revoke it on the spot.

For developers

A small JSON API that only reads

Every endpoint is a GET under https://fixturefeed.seliontech.com/api/v1, and you send your key as Authorization: Bearer <key>. You make keys in the portal, and its API docs page has the same calls ready to copy into curl, Python, C# or PHP.

  • GET/api/v1/clubsThe clubs your licences cover, listed once for each league, with the seasons we have. Start here to find your club ID.
  • GET/api/v1/clubs/{clubId}/teamsThe club's teams in one season.
  • GET/api/v1/clubs/{clubId}/fixturesand/resultsEvery team at the club. Fixtures come soonest first, results most recent first.
  • GET/api/v1/teams/{teamId}/fixturesand/resultsJust one team, in the same order.

Keys can only read. Each one reads fixtures, results or both, and you get up to five per licence.

Keep the key on your server, not in a web page. Keys you can safely use in a web page are coming later.

Query parameters

For fixtures and results. All of them are optional.

seasonId
Full-Time's season ID. Leave it out and you get the newest season you've sent. /teams takes it too.
from, to
Dates like 2026-10-01. Matches on or after from, and on or before to.
competition
Part of the division or cup name, such as U9.
type
L for league, Cup for cup.

Fields worth knowing

id
Full-Time's fixture ID. It doesn't change when the match is played, so a fixture and its result share it.
state
Fixture or Result.
kickOff, startsAt
kickOff is UK time, startsAt the same moment in UTC. Both are null until Full-Time has a date and a time.
homeTeam.id, awayTeam.id
Null for other clubs' teams when you ask about a club.
status, link
Full-Time's note on the match, such as postponed, and a link to it on Full-Time.
score, homeGoals, awayGoals
On results. Mini soccer (U7 to U11) comes back as X - X with no goals, because Full-Time doesn't publish them.
lastImportedAt
When this club or team was last updated, so your app can say how fresh the data is.

Errors and limits

Errors come back as problem JSON with a title, a detail and a code.

401 unauthorized
The key is missing or wasn't recognised.
403 forbidden
The key can't read that, like results with a fixtures-only key.
403 licence_inactive
The club's licence has lapsed.
404 nothing_imported
FixtureFeed has nothing for that club or team yet. season_not_imported means the same for one season.
429 too_many_requests
More than 120 requests a minute on one key. Wait for the time in the Retry-After header.

FAQ

Worth knowing before you buy

Including the things it doesn't do.

Do I need a licence for each team?

No. One licence covers the club and all its teams, in every league the club plays in.

My club isn't on the list.

Email us with the club's name and the league it plays in, and we'll add it. It's worth sorting out before you buy, so check the club list first.

I look after more than one club.

Buy a licence for each club with the same email address. They all sit on one account, and one key reads the lot.

Do I have to install anything?

No. There's nothing to install, and nothing for anyone at the club to do. Your website or app reads the API with a key.

Why don't mini soccer results have scores?

Full-Time doesn't publish scores for U7 to U11, so those results come back as "X - X".

How often is the data updated?

Every day. Each list also carries the time it was last updated, so your app can show how fresh it is.

Is it a live-score feed?

No. It's the fixtures and results from Full-Time, updated daily. League tables and player data aren't included.

Can I use the key in my website's JavaScript?

No. A key is secret and belongs on your server, where visitors can't read it. Keys that are safe to use in a web page are coming later.

How do I cancel?

From the portal, through Stripe, along with your card and invoices. A cancelled licence keeps working until the end of the month you've paid for.
